York: A Great City

You know, I’ve lived in the York, PA area for almost four years as of this July, and there are some really great places in York. Dan and I went to an auction at York Fairgrounds today and purchased some really beautiful watercolor paintings by Alfred Birdsey, an engraving, and a charger by Bjorn Wiinblad.

We visited a used bookstore called York Emporium that I’ve been wanting to visit for a while. If you love books, it’s a place you should visit. Tons and tons of books and even some games, VHS/DVD’s, comics, etc. I am a huge book nerd, so I could’ve spent an entire day in there just looking through the endless amount of books they had.

And now having a delicious meal at Pho Bistro. There is so many cool things to see and discover. I really need to check out New Grounds Coffee Shop and Green Bean Roasting Co. They look like such cool places and there are hardly any coffee shops in the York area.

I think tomorrow we are going to spend some time in Harrisburg. Next is Lancaster. Ha 🙂
